Somebody, Somewhere
There’s no
need for you to feel lonely and blue,
Though skies
overhead may be stormy and gray;
Somebody .
. . somewhere . . . is thinking of you.
When it seems
that you fail in all that you do,
When there
are no victories coming your way,
There’s no
need for you to feel lonely and blue.
For I bet it
would help if only you knew,
At the end
of a turbulent, sorrow-filled day,
That somebody
. . . somewhere . . . is thinking of you.
When heartache’s
your companion and troubles pursue,
And friends
can’t be found for they’ve all turned away,
There’s no
need for you to feel lonely and blue.
Remember these
words and they’ll help you get through
All the pain
and the sorrow, self-doubt and dismay:
Somebody .
. . somewhere . . . is thinking of you.
Though miles
lie between us, I promise it’s true,
These words
from my heart that I’m sending your way;
There’s no
need for you to feel lonely and blue,
For somebody
. . . somewhere . . . is thinking of you.
