God Put "US" in Jesus
Before we were thought of, or
time had begun,
God placed US with love in the
name of His Son.
And each time we pray, in Him
we can trUSt,
For there’s no other way to spell
JesUS sans US.
We're a pretty big part of His
wonderful name,
Love for US filled His heart,
and that's why He came.
And His great love for US is the
reason He died.
You cannot spell jUStice without
US inside.
We were not misled, oh isn’t it
grand?
He rose from the dead, with US
in His plan.
The stones were bisected, the
gold trumpet blew,
He was reSUrrected, returned
for US too.
When JesUS left earth at His upward
ascension,
He told US there was one thing
He jUSt had to mention.
He told US , “Don’t stall, tell
the whole world, you mUSt,"
That He loves them all, jUSt
like He loves US.
ThUS shining His light is what
we mUSt do,
For all have a right to know
JesUS too.
Our duty to bestow, His love to
discUSs,
He wants them to know, but it
all starts with US.
